Pakistan’s landscapes offer a wealth of destinations to explore, from dramatic mountain ranges and alpine lakes to lush valleys and historic landmarks. For Roam, I illustrated popular tourist spots across the country, translating each location’s distinctive landscape and landmarks into a stylized visual composition.
My approach combined bold outlines, simplified forms, layered scenery, and vibrant color palettes to capture the character of each destination without relying on intricate detail. From the reflective waters and surrounding forests of Kachura Lake to the winding roads and blossoming trees of Miachar Village, each illustration highlights the features that make a place recognizable while maintaining a consistent visual style across the series.
The circular compositions frame each destination like a window into the landscape, creating a cohesive collection while allowing each location to retain its individuality. Designed as scalable illustrations, the artwork can adapt to different sizes and digital applications while maintaining its clarity and visual impact. Together, the illustrations bring personality to Roam’s visual identity and invite users to discover the diverse destinations Pakistan has to offer.
